Dear Customers,
The current situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is serious and our nation, state and company continue to do everything possible to “flatten the curve”. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this virus. We have done our best as a company to provide a safe work environment for our employees and timely delivery of product to our customers. Any company wide decisions are labored over and considered with great care.
Under the state of Ohio “Stay At Home” Mandate, Granite Industries is considered an “essential business” as it supplies steel products and is a part of the construction supply chain. However, we feel that it is in the best interest and safety of our employees to temporarily close Granite Industries as of Tuesday, March 24, 2020. This closure will be for at least two weeks. We will provide an update on Friday April 3, 2020.
Update for Additional Clarification (March 25, 2020)
While we have temporarily closed our production down, we are still operating on a skeleton crew in the office and in the shipping department. Thus we are still able to take orders, provide updates, and ship products that we have in stock. We want to do everything possible to provide for our customers as a part of the essential supply chain in our state and nation.
We understand that this puts many of our customers in a tough position. We would ask that you contact us regarding the status of your order. The preferred route would be to send us an email: support@graniteind.com. We will also be available via phone: 877-447-2648 but due to a very limited staff, we may not be able to provide immediate assistance.
We know that this time is extremely challenging for all of our customers and we want to do whatever we can to help. We appreciate your business over the years and we are confident that we will all make it through this pandemic.
