SCAFFOLD SAFETY GUIDELINES

• Read and follow O.S.H.A. codes and regulations
• Inspect all components for visible defects
• Start with a foundation that is level, sound and rigid
• Don't overload scaffolds and/or scaffold components
• Climbing the braces is prohibited
• Attach frames and inserts with fastening pins

• Restrain scaffolds from tipping by using tie braces or guys
• Fully deck with walkboards on all working levels
• Keep a safe distance away from power lines
• Employees shall not ride moving scaffolds
• Provide guardrail and toe board systems
• Provide falling object protection
